About Dr.Rachlin

Dr. Rachlin is the Medical Director of the Rachlin Medical Center. He is a pioneer of Alternative and Integrative Medicine practicing for over 30 years. He has treated more than 50,000 patients in his practice. In 1983, he founded the Rachlin Medical Center and it’s one of the first comprehensive practices for the delivery of innovative medicine on Long Island.

Dr. Rachlin has been featured in People Magazine and has been interviewed extensively on The Today Show and Good Morning America along with other television programs. He hosted the radio show “Health Alternatives with Dr. Rachlin” on WLIE for over 15 years. Dr. Rachlin has also received worldwide media attention for successfully delivering the first baby born on a domestic flight in the United States. A reenactment of this heart-warming delivery was featured on the TV series, Rescue 911 and is currently available on Youtube. Dr. Rachlin was a recipient of international recognition and was acknowledged by the AMA for his dedication and service. Dr. Rachlin worked on his new color therapy book with his brother over many years, doing extensive research on Dinshah and his spectro-chrome science and just recently released Color War Book.
Dr. Rachlin graduated from Syracuse University. After receiving his M.D. from the University of Bologna in Italy, he interned and performed his Internal Medicine residency at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York.

Dr. Rachlin’s lifestyle is consistent with his medical beliefs. He himself follows a vegetarian diet. Dr. Rachlin has 4 children and resides with his family on the North Shore of Long Island.
